Q. When will my order arrive?

Please note...we are now trialling a four day week...we will be open Monday to Thursday...10 am to 4pm...

**COVID 19** Parts of the UK and Europe are seeing are still seeing delays with deliveries, so if your order is delayed please contact your local Royal Mail sorting office or UPS via their website for an update. Once a parcel has left our warehouse we cannot hurry it up unfortunately. Please select UPS at the check out if your order is urgent. Currently we are only delivering to Great Britain due to the increased costs and general disruption to ship orders out of Great Britain. All orders to Scotland, Wales and England are processed as normal, however there are delays still, so please order in a timely manner if you can. 

Standard delivery is 2nd class with a courier or the Royal Mail. During the pandemic some areas of the UK are seeing unavoidable delays. We use UPS for Express orders, so if you order before 2pm, we will dispatch the same working day. Any orders placed after 2pm will be shipped the next working day. Technically UPS Express orders are delivered the next business day, however we cannot guarantee a next day delivery during the pandemic. 

If you order before 2pm, Monday to Thursday we will send your order with UPS or Royal Mail, (please allow 3 working days for 1st class). Due to the Corona Virus delays may happen, as some parts of the UK may have restrictions on movement. Delivery is Monday to Friday and we do not currently operate a courier weekend delivery service.

Any orders placed after 2pm on a Thursday will be dispatched on Monday. 

We have no courier collections or customer deliveries during the weekend. 

Q. How can I get in touch? 

You can get in touch via e-mail; info@takeeataway.com, by telephone 01383 665001 or via our contact page. We aim to respond quickly, normally the same working day. We are open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Thursday. We are usually able to answer queries out with these hours, so you can always drop us an e-mail. 

Q. Do you charge for delivery?

For orders of £75.00 or less, UK mainland delivery is £3.99. This is a 2nd class service with the Royal Mail (so please allow 3 working days). If your order is over £75.00, then it is free delivery. You can choose the Express option at the checkout page. Express delivery is normally a next business day service, however during the pandemic, we do not guarantee this, but UPS try their best for you. Just order before 2pm (Monday to Thursday) and we will dispatch the same day. Orders placed after 2pm will typically be processed the next business day (Monday to Thursday). 

Additional delivery charges maybe applied to the following postcodes and delivery times are increased to 2 to 3 working days:

IM, HS, IV41 toIV51, IV55 to IV56, KA27 to KA28, PA20, PA41 to PA78, PH42 to PH44, ZE

Our postal charges are based on weight, so if you are in any doubt, please contact us for specific postal fees. 

Q. Do you post Internationally?

Not at this time due to the increased costs. We are only shipping pallets (200 units) to Europe, so if you think you can order enough to fill a pallet, please let us know.

Q. Do you have a re-stocking fee?

No for orders under £250 we do not charge a re-stocking fee. Any order over £250 we reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee to cover any cost we incur for extra storage space required and staff to manually check the products. This charge will be not greater than 20% of your order cost.
